Kira: Zangoose
Quirky, Often lost in thought
Ability: Immunity
Moves: Slash, X-Scissor, Protect, Brick Break
Religion: Order of the Sun

History: Kira loves stories. She spent most of her time in the Sapling Village library, enjoying reading all sorts of heroic and tragic stories. Eventually she wanted to have her own life to be like one of her adventure stories, and joins up with a Woobat to fulfill that as a member of a guild. She isn't exactly naive or mature, and not pessimistic or optimistic. She views her life as a story and elements in her life as plots and events. This gives her the hope that her life/story will be good, but is prepared for tragedy if worst comes to worst. She has a Grumpig father, Seviper-hating Zangoose mother, and two older siblings that moved out when she was young.

Dealing with other Pokemon, she tends to be most comfortable with other Zangoose (Zangeese?). She fears fighting-type Pokemon and often asks her friend Winston the Woobat to "take care of it!". She, like most Zangoose, hate snakes, specifically Sevipers. Being raised by a Seviper-Slaying mother tended to influence her that way . Simply having Winston on her team makes her happy to know that he can super-effectively take care of the poisonous snakes.
She has curlier hair, shown with the hair on the top of her head and her tail. Her red markings on her face and torso also show some curly-ness.

Winston: Swoobat
Relaxed, Good Endurance
Ability: (hidden) Simple
Moves: Air Slash, Psychic, Calm Mind, Stored Power
Religion: Order of the Sun

History: Winston was born in Cathedral Drop, raised by the Order of the Sun. He was a scholar before meeting Kira. He is quite a bit older than Kira and is very learned, though from his attacks, you can see he's not much of the fighter. He first encountered Kira at the Sapling Village Library. He was the one who suggested that being in the Merchant Guild would be a little safer than being a Rescuer. He kind of fears conflict and tries his best to be peaceful and diplomatic.
He's got a bit of a bald spot on the top if his head. Kira wonders to herself if the balding was a cause or effect of the Woobat's religious devotion.

Frith: Drilbur
Quiet, Sturdy body
Ability: Sand Rush, Sand Force
Moves: Drill Run, Shadow Claw, Substitute, Sandstorm
Religion: Order of the Sun

History: Met during Kira's March tasks (aka, exchanging evo scroll for recruitment) after being rescued from wandering around the Creeping Forest.
His history revealed so far shows that he was raised by a traveling sales-mon named Alice. He never learned how to properly speak and doesn't wish to exert himself to do so. However, any mind reader would find him to be calculated.
He is a determined and stubborn mole that often takes off on his own. He was raised with the story of the story-telling Woobat from the future (Winston) and was adamant that the Woobat would make it back in his time. Determined, Frith set out on his own to find Kira and by definition, Winston. Frith loves adventuring and plans to stay with these 'mon for a long time (they need his fighting expertise).

Kurama: Nuzleaf
Naughty, Impetuous and Silly
Ability: Chlorophyll, Early Bird, Pickpocket (hidden)
Moves: Seed Bomb, Beat up, Sunny Day, Nature Power
Religion: Path of Shine

History: Kurama was first met as a Seedot when Kira and Frith came to the Tree of Life to find Winston. Since he was promised a spot in the team, he trained hard and evolved to be recruited at July Tasks, being dark type. He loves telling mind-numbingly bad jokes and isn't always aware they are bad. He's jovial and loves to have fun, not taking anything too seriously. Like Frith he looks up to Winston, thanks to the bat's time traveling adventures, as a legend.

I'm kind of torn between being Pichu or Pikachu rank. I've seen great artists in each rank. I am a bit lazy for backgrounds...
